Process for Publishing at Student Journal of Business and Economics (FAQ)

Updated: Mar 13

In today's academic world, undergraduate college admissions has become more competitive than ever. Research will be able to separate you from other students applying to elite colleges. This blog post will address the process for publishing at SJOBE.

1) Do I pay before or after the review?

All papers undergo peer review process with members of the editorial team. You will only need to pay the publishing fee if you are accepted into SJOBE. We also offer a fee for re-formatting to our journal standards for an extra fee. Please let us know if you decide to choose this option.

2) What makes SJOBE different than other journals?

Student Journal of Business and Economics is the only high school journal that focuses specifically on business and economics papers. Many other journals are general or focus on liberal arts. If you are a high school student looking to study and major in business or economics related majors in college, SJOBE would be the best place to publish your business paper.

3) How can I ensure I am accepted into the journal?

All papers undergo a peer review process. You must ensure at a minimum that your paper follows our guidelines. If you do not, your chances of being accepted lower significantly. If your paper undergoes too many revision processes, we will not accept your paper. Thus, please ensure on your first pass you meet our guideliness before you submit for the peer review process.

In the world of academia, submitting research can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. By following the steps outlined in this post, students can navigate the process with confidence.
